The Oregon Lion Newspaper is published monthly for Lions Club members across the state of Oregon and members in Northern California. 

Lions Clubs have been making a difference in Oregon for over 85 years, and represent communities from Eastern Oregon to the Oregon Coast, and from the Columbia River, south to the California border, encompassing a few California Clubs. 

The paper currently publishes 7,000 papers, with an estimated readership of 9,600 Lions, their spouses and family members.

As of August 1, 2008, The Oregon Lion began accepting advertising from both commercial and Lions members to help defray rising publishing and mailing costs.  The paper now has a distinctive new look with several new features and columns.

Tom Geil, previously Public Relations and Marketing Officer at the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation, is the Managing Editor of the paper, while Glynis Beyerlin, editor for the past 15 years, is the News Coordination Editor.  For details on who to contact regarding the paper, please click on our contact/deadline page.
